About GUIDE

GUIDE is a unique pan-European grants database and website aimed at giving organisations a convenient single source for updated and comprehensive information on grant funding across Europe.

Unique pan-European searchable database
GUIDE's database holds information for Business and the Public Sector. It includes grants and other types of public funding assistance offered by national, regional, and where appropriate provincial and local government as well as EU funding. The database is updated every working day by dedicated research teams in every country.

GUIDE's search engine can be used in any official EU language. Convenient summaries of all schemes are provided in English as well as the mother-tongue of the country being researched. Full details are provided for all programmes including their aims and target beneficiaries, the costs that can be supported and eligibility criteria. Full contact details are available, together with links to associated documents such as legal texts, scheme brochures and application forms.

Who is it for?
GUIDE is aimed at businesses, public sector organisations and their advisors, and is designed to help users to find the relevant and available funding support that their project may be eligible for, in any country in Europe.
GUIDE is especially suited to foreign investors and their advisors, and the corresponding needs of Inward Investment professionals. Full details of relevant schemes are offered in English and the mother-tongue and there are links to national and regional agencies and other organisations that may provide helpful information and advice. GUIDE has a unique comparative search facility to explore funding support available to support investments in alternative locations.

GUIDE is also ideal for government organisations responsible for researching and defining policy for financial assistance and for those involved in developing programmes.

How do I get access to GUIDE?
Access to GUIDE is by subscription to individual country or for all Europe. Single user subscriptions can be purchased and activated instantly online. Multiple user licences are cost effective for organisations and can be set up same day with a phone call.

Which countries are in GUIDE now?
GUIDE will eventually include all EU25 member states and the same high standard and comprehensiveness of data will be maintained by working with the leading grants information provider in each country.

History of GUIDE
GUIDE is the brainchild of j4b Software & Publishing Limited and Europe's leading specialist grants consultancies, PNO and econet. These three successful companies have nearly 40 years of experience of grants between them and saw the increasing need for a comprehensive and sophisticated grants database for Europe.

The two-year development of GUIDE was part-funded by the European Commission's e-Content Programme and led to the pilot launch with 5 countries at the end of 2004.

The site is continually developing and coverage is growing each month towards the goal of integrating grant funding and inward investment information for all 25 countries in the European Union.
